Prime Minister Secretariat
Subject: International Conference on the Global Control of Green House Gases at the Source by Physical and Chemical Technology (GCGHGSPCT-2019) on 22-24 March 2019
The event has been proposed on the World Water Day-22 March and World Meteorological Day 23 March 2019, by the Department of Chemistry, School of Physical and Decision Sciences (SPDS), Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow, U. P., India
Venue: Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Bajpai Auditorium BBAU, Lucknow
The objective of this International Conference is to motivate the people of India particularly the younger generations, that a long-term permanent solution of the Global protection of environment caused by air pollution is possible if we can arrest Green House Gases right from the sources and do not allow Green House Gases to escape to the atmosphere.
To achieve satisfactory success in this endeavour we need to split the whole work into three projects: a) Taping the Green House Gases at the source appropriately in a suitable and replaceable containers from the automobiles to prevent their escape to the atmosphere b): Transporting the Green House Gases collected at the respective sources to the Processing Plant Centres and c) Transformation of Green House Gases to commercial products for the utilization in industries and home.
While celebrating the World Water Day and World Meteorological Day, we pledge to spread the knowledge and methodical understanding of the experts from India and abroad. This will encourage teamwork along with the transfer of vast knowledge in all fields of Environmental Pollution, Remediation, Ecological issues including Global warming, wastewater treatment, Green chemical technology, and related matters.
Worldwide awareness is increasing to recycle whatever thing contributes to damage natural quality of air, water, and land. Main pollutant carbon dioxide, produced by automobiles and thermal power plants is being treated as raw material for new commercial products such as cement, chemicals, agricultural aids including high profile electronic materials like graphene.
The world is witness to your personal example of spectacular feat ,strategic leadership & relentless pursuit while addressing the issue of climatic change pioneered by you in our illustrious country. Rightfully so, an apt recognition – ‘Champions of the Earth Award’ -the highest UN Honour for Environment was conferred upon you by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. We are sanguine that an ambitious & popular leader like you will propel us forward in the fight to keep the natural environment healthy, accessible and sustainable for all. While the entire country is following your footsteps, we in our Academic Fraternity – with our Scholars & Students in particular are infused with tremendous alacrity, inspiration & motivation to contribute in our humble way to make your Mission successful. We,therefore, are committed to bring out the best research undertaken by Experts – both from India & abroad during the International Conference in the Field of Controlling Green House Gases with the sole aim to suggest measures for making the entire world a better place to live in.
